Equipment used in paediatric and neonatal wards has to be adjusted to special requirements of children and newborns. FX 3000MD monitors with 15″ or 17″ displays are most often chosen solution for the needs of these wards. A trolley, delivered together with monitors, makes their transport between patient beds easier. Besides the basic parameters (ECG, respiration, SpO2 and NIBP), the monitor allows for monitoring and supervising:
- respiration with APNEA supervision,
- OxyCardioRespirogram presentation,
- body temperature.
The monitors are equipped with specialized sets of accessories for neonatal and children. In addition, pediatric and neonatal wards are equipped with DefiMax biphasic defibrillators which are fitted with small hard paddles and disposable electrodes.
